Mille Lacs outing...  (United States)
Decided to skip a bass tournament that was being held on Lake Minnewawa and headed straight to Mille Lacs looking for smallies.  Brought out the fly rod, but the wind was howling, but I least I can say I tried it.  We managed one large smallmouth and one 44" musky.  We had follows from a small musky and a much bigger musky somewhere around 54", big brute.  Actually just seeing one chase you lure is enough to get the heart pumping.  This winter I'll have to ponder whether I want to pursue musky on the fly, new rod, new reels, some bigger musky flies, hmmm sound like a fun way to spend the winter
