I've been hearing nothing but good things about this pattern "Pink Squirrel".  I can't find them for sale anywhere.  Please help!!!  1st outing is in 4 days and would really appreciate some help w/ these beasts.  Thanks.

Re: Pink Squirrel HELP  (United States)
You can pick them up at Bob Mitchell's Fly Shop in lake Elmo or at Bentley's in Bloomington.  Or you can check out the St. paul Fly Tiers Web page at the bottom they have a link to fly of the month, this months fly is the pink squirrel.  www.stpaulflytiers.com  I have fished them and they do work at times.  I also like pink or orange scuds.  On the Kinni this time of year I like little black stone fly nymphs when the conditions are right.  Even though I know you shouldn't stick to one pattern I seem to have a couple favorites for this time of year, and when they don't work I know I need to start switching.
