Add a photo to your post
1. Your images/photos must be available on the web. Your post must be able to link to your photo(s) on the web. This can be done by uploading your images/photos to one of the many free image/photo hosting sites. These are basically web sites that you register on and are able to upload your photos to their sites so you can share them to others. We do not allow uploading of files to this site. I know one person that use www.myfishingpics.com there is also http://imageshack.com/. But there are many others out there as well.
If you have your own website, you can upload your photos/images to your website to make them accessible thru the web. This is more for advanced web users.
2. Displaying them on your post. The easiest way to add a images/photos is by copying and pasting it into your post. How do I do that? Once your photo is available on the web, open a new Internet browser window and go to the web site where your photo is being hosted. Get your photo to display on the screen. Right click on the photo and select the "copy" the image option (each browser is different, Internet Explorer show a "Copy" option, select that).
Now start another internet browser window and go to Mnflyfishing.com, sign in and start a new post. Make the sure the "Rich Text Editor" option is checked on the top of your post. In the part where you write your post, right click and select "paste". Your image/photo should now display (Firefox users is a little bit different, but the same idea).
Advanced users can use the HTML <img> tag to display images/photos by viewing there post in HTML form.
