Northern Tier Scout Base (Ely, MN)  (United States)

 I will be taking a scout crew to the Northern Tier High Adventure Camp. I would like to do some fishing while there. I have found info on species, Walleye, Northern, Smallies, but there is no mention of trout. Any suggestions on rod size, or patterns to tie in preparation for the trip? Any help would be appreciated.
