Guides
 (United States)
I was recently reading a forum written from a so-called guide that complained about all the new people messing up his fishing days in which he had clients. He say all these newbies were walking into is area while he was guiding clients and this mad him made. HMMM!!! To those of you are new the sport and thinking about hiring a guide to help you work out your casting or learning new water or how to fish a little better. Please dont rely on guides telling you how good they are or how many fish they caught or on and on. Call you local shop and ask them first. This will save you a lot of trouble's. I have been guiding for over 16 years and the best guides dont have to tell you how good they are. Word of mouth is the purest form of advertising. We have some good guides around MN and we have some not so good guides in MN. Do a little home work when looking for a guide and let them know what it is you want out of a trip and also be truthful to them about your abilities this will make his day easier as well. Good luck out there and remember that this is fun not life or death!
