Minnesota Fly Fishing Reports

Minnesota fly fishing reports for all types of fly fishing in Minnesota. Please provide some helpful information about your trip to the waters so others might enjoy the same fly fishing outings. Do not provide exact detail information on specific spots about the waters you fished. The best reports are the ones that let others learn from your experiences.  Please use the Minnesota Fly Fishing Forums to post fly fishing questions. That way we can have fly fishing reports only here.  Minnesota Fly Fishing Reports has moved to a new forum. Minnesota Fly Fishing.

Scott E2 Fly Rod!!!
 (N/A)
The new E2 from Scott Fly Rods: Draped in a deep forest green its subtle attractiveness belies its aggressive and fluid casting power.  Built on a fast action blank, Scott Fly Rod Co. has shown itself again as a clear leader in rods with guts!!  Moderately priced below the 500 dollar range this rod is priced way below its worth as compared to other fly rods with the same properties.  Try the 9' 6" 8wt, a perfect steelhead and salmon rod or the 9' 8wt for that favorite bass hangout or a take along on the next bonefish trip.  Try It!!

Re: Scott E2 Fly Rod!!!

If it's a Scott Fly Rod, then it's already going to be a great stick , but then again I'm a little partial to Scott Fly Rods.  I've own their S3S, S3 and A2 and casted their V2's and all are wonderful sticks to cast.  Strange that I've never casted an E2, but have picked them up and they definetly have that Scott Fly Rod feel.
