Iowa trout fishing.....  (United States)

Greetings,

Today was another great day for fishing in Iowa, well until blizzard like conditions set in. I was at the upper Bear creek today and fishing little brown woolly buggers on 120grain 6 foot sink tip. Caught some rainbows.  Also refer to my post from this morning in the S.E. MN part of the forum. I was nymphing yesterday and the day before in some streams in N.E. Iowa. AH Pashaw! I made the trek to Cannon Falls,Minnesota over Christmas, but didnt think any fishing was possible. I even managed to get a new rod/reel for Christmas! It is a little 2# for getting around streams. Now I am back in KC and have to wait until July until I get to fish Minnesota. Will be in Duluth for a week. Maybe that will make up for lost opportunities. NICE FISH! Wish I could have been there.

I am hoping someone will make it down to Iowa and get a few pictures of what is going on in that part of the country. If anyone has a picture or update, I'd be interested.

The fishing in Iowa is HORRIBLE....please, please, dont go there. I'll see what I can find for pictures...Iowa has some great streams.
