Brule River  (United States)
Modified By mnff_admin on 4/7/2007 7:26:17 AM)

Went for a little drive and a little bit of fishing at the Brule River in Wisconsin.  I landed a few small resident browns and one skip at about 18 inches.  The water is still high, but still fishable.  I think the major runs have already happened, because there wasn't hardly anyone fishing.  But there were a few still.  I just wanted to get out and enjoy the nice weather we were having.

I was a using a small piece of yarn.  One of these days I'll get this steelhead fishing down.  I just wish I had the time to invest in learning it more during the peak runs when alot of fish are running.

Tight lines..
