Fishing Report..  (United States)

Headed to a nice stream in Wisconsin today.  Weather was fantastic, mid 60's and and slight breeze.  The top water action was great for a couple of hours in the early afternoon, but then everything just shut down.  Tried going subsurface, but nothing.  Managed a few decent sized browns that put my Scott 4wt to the test.  Nothing like a big brown that just rolls over your dry fly while it sucks it down.  Never get tired of that feeling

Couple more weeks and all the streams in Wisconsin open up.

I fished the Brule River a few times for just a couple hours a piece.  Managed a few browns and decent sized chrome.  The water is running good for fly fishing.
