Go down and talk to John at the Great Lakes Fly Company and tell him Carson aka TheFlyMaster said I need some Hex spinners, duns, emergers and nymphs. He should remember the ones that I got from him and have been using the past 2 weeks. Nymphs are good flies to use during the late afternoon or during the day when it's cloudy, but don't be afraid to try duns, emergers during the day as well. At night is when the big boys come out to play and they usually tell you what they want, whether it's emergers, duns or spinners.
Oh and ask him if he can make more 'Hex wiggle nymphs'. He quite tying them, but I was having good luck with them until a few huge browns just ripped them off my line, so I'm out. So he might give you dirty looks, because of all the people I've been sending to him looking for the famous 'Hex Wiggle Nymph'

Otherwise I haven't found a very good world wide fly fishing only forum. They're out there, just can't find one I like to visit alot. The only other one I check out is http://www.theflyfishingforum.com/.
I only use sites that don't have any restrictions on what you can say and what you can't, like doing a bad review on product and that product happens to be one of the sponsors of the site.
If your up for a canoe float down the Brule, there are some good short sections that can be easily floated in 3-5 hrs, depending on how the fishing is. So this can be easily started in the afternoon. I like the stones bridge to big stretch, but Big Lake to Winnebajou is a great trip as well. Night fishing usually starting around 8 pm being on the water and setting up for the night bite. and last for a 2-3 hours, I don't normally stay past midnight, unless I don't work the next day.
So that goes for anyone on the board, just send me an email and if I'm not taking clients out, your more then welcome to join me. I just love going fly fishing.
Tight lines!
