Re: WhiteWater
 (United States)
I was down there with some buddies two weekends ago.  The water was cloudy, not sure what it is like now.  I know they have had some storms down there recently.  We fished all three branches, but had the most success with the South branch surprisingly enough with the stained water.  Hare's ears, gray muskrats, and caddis larva worked well below the surface, and we also caught quite a few on dark gray/brown caddis (sizes 14-18).  The ones that worked the best for us had no hackle, but instead had a gray CDC underwing below the elk hair.  These caddis seemed to really pop pretty good in the late afternoon/early evening and we found a spot with a fairly substantial hatch  We also caught a few on small (#16-18) Hendrickson spentwings.  Make sure you bring some wooly buggers and terrestrials too.  We didn't catch many big fish, but numbers were good and it was a good time.  Good luck.

Re: WhiteWater

Heading down to Whitwater in a few weeks. I was hoping to hit Trout Run Creek, but notice there are two such streams on the maps, one in Whitewater state park, and another a few miles south, which is the better one? Thanks for any insight!
