Hey sludgepumper, check the DNR site at the following link (click the PDF link to view the actual maps).  This is a pretty good bunch of maps that show roads, streams, easements, slots & catch and release info, etc. in the SE MN area.  I believe that you can also get a hardcopy map book from any local DNR office, but don't quote me on that!  Hope this helps.

I started work on this a little while ago, but then the Minnesota DNR started changing their maps around and creating new ones.  I was going to make something like I did with the Wisconsin trout maps.  I pieced all the different map sections together and formed a big one-piece map which hangs great in an office or by your fly tying bench

I was going to overlay road data from Microsofts streets and maps against the dnr trout maps.  I'll take a look where I'm at and if I get any free time from catching smallies, I'll work on it a little at a time.

"trout streams of wisconsin and minnesota" an anglers guide by jim humphrey is very helpful! you can get it at most fly shops. there's another good one by a guy whose last name is Van Pliett or something. but those dnr maps are great, they show all public access points. i'll probably be scolded for this, but the Kinnie Land Trust has a great map of all the public access points there. good luck.
