Re: Chatfield

As for the fishing last weekend, it was pretty slow.  Trout Run was full of people (as usual) so my brother and I went out in search of more secluded waters.  There were no hatches of significance going on and most of the fish seemed to be in resting lies.  The water looked good, but that also made the fish pretty spooky.  My brother managed to pull a 18+ brown, and I caught a 16" rainbow, but those were the only two fish of any size.  We pulled in a handful of smaller fish here and there, but it was hard to get into casting range without spooking the fish.  The ones we caught were all on mayfly nymphs.  Near Enough's, muskrats, bead head p.t.'s all worked pretty well.  Good luck.
