S3s rods help you equalize this disadvantage by giving you the line speed and distance you need to get flies to fish quickly and accurately. They also have all the power you need to beat down powerful fish quickly, get the all important 'proof' shot for the folks back at the office, and release the fish healthy and strong back into the Big Blue.  Like all Scott rods, it uses the internal ferrule system.
