I'd like to wade fish for smallmouth bass. Don't have a boat and can't afford a guide, I'm looking for a stream I can walk and fish. If it was within a two-hour drive of the Twin Cities, that'd be great.
Any ideas?

Try the Cannon east of Northfield. Short drive if you're south metro and lots of access points.
