Been out a few times, but mainly working on getting my points up with the wife , so I can out alot this summer. Been working on my boat getting it ready for the upcoming season and getting my fly stock up.
Was out this past Monday in Northern Wisconsin for a few hours and managed some decent browns on my new Scott 4wt. I've always been a 5wt guy, but I'm liking my 4wt now for trout fishing.
Couple more weeks and the upper Brule River opens up. I'll be camping on the river opening weekend and staying until Monday. If anyone is out towards the Brule River campground just south of the town of Brule, look for a small black toyota rav4 and a red ford, stop by and say hi!
