Rush River??
 (United States)
I was looking to fish the Rush River and I was just wondering if anyone knew of some road access points along the river.  I have been searching the net for a while trying to find some type of direction as to where to start fishing.  Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You could start with the obvious: bridges.  However, I would recommend a small investment.  Buy the book, Trout Streams of Wisconsin and Minnesota by Jim Humphrey and Bill Shogren.  It is a great starting off point.  It will cost you about $12 bucks and is packed full of info on many streams in Wisconson and Minnesota.

I second that about this book.  It has just enough info to get you there and get you started,  but not so much that it shows you exactly how to catch them for that particular stream.

Click here to a link to the book.

I hit the bridge in El Paso on Friday.  Beautiful day.

It was a beautiful day and I was enjoying being out for the first time of the season so I gave up on catching fish and started tp practice casting.  I got out my biggest dry (grasshopper with a bright red parachute) and just started throwing.

Caught a 15 in. brown.

The fishing gods smiled on me.

Sounded like a nice day to be on the water and good catch with that brown!
