Trout Run Creek
 (N/A)
I am new to Minnesota and last Saturday was my first outing on the streams of southeast Minnesota.  I choose Trout Run Creek and was not disappointed.  On the stream at 6am and fished till 2pm last Saturday.  Had an unbelievable day.  Lots of fish and found the anglers of Minnesota to be friendly, helpful, and just great people.  Special thanks to the local with the red Chevy SUV and Golden who shared his knowledge and a couple of his own ties that proved to work even better than Prince Nymphs and PT's that were working just fine earlier in the day for me.  Lived in Wyoming for ten years and fished all over the intermountain west and must say that I truly enjoyed Trout Run Creek and look forward to returning soon.

Glad you had a good time on Trout Run.  You should also check out streams within close proximity such as Pine Creek, Rush Creek, Torkelson, etc.  These streams all hold good amounts of decent fish and receive a lot less pressure than Trout Run.  Apparently, when a river has 'Trout' anywhere in the title, people seem to pay less attention to the other streams in the close vicinity.  Good luck, see you out there.

Thanks for the other areas.  Will get to all of them this summer.
