Wow, I've never seen those pictures before. I've been to the WW many times and can relate to a lot of those pics. That's some major flooding for that area. From some of the pics, it's looks like the water was even higher than when those pics were taken, insane. Now I understand why the DNR would close the park.
I guess it's good old mother nature trying to pick up after us and start reclaiming what was hers. I'm sure this won't be the last time a major flood will happen along the river systems. The loss of forest surrounding the river systems and all that farming land might have something to do with that, but that another topic.
